Environmental Awareness Activity in Schools Phase-3, 2017
LEADS signed MoU with ACME Agrovet & Beverages LTD to continue the 3rd phase Environmental Awareness Campaign with School Children. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between ‘The ACME Agrovet & Beverages LTD’ and ‘Livelihood Education and Development Services’ (LEADS) on 3rd of May 2017 at the company headquarter in the city. Mr. Fahim Sinha, Director of ‘The ACME Agrovet& Beverages LTD’ and Ms. Romina Dewan, Founder Executive Director of LEADS signed the MoU and have agreed to work closely to create awareness among school children, in line with government curriculum, on various environmental issues such as pollution control and mitigation; efficient resource utilization; and adopting the 3R concept of reduce, reuse and recycle; and let them understand their responsibilities as individuals for better environmental management through changed behavior and practice. A.S.M Kabir, Chairman and Ms. Nargis Ahmed , Committee Member of LEADS were also present at the function.
