Every organization needs a strong support to function properly. Mr. A.S.M Kabir is the backbone of LEADS. He is a silent yet an essential part of the LEADS team. Mr. Kabir completed his Masters in Economics from Wales University, United Kingdom. He looks after the welfare of government employees, and is also guest speaker of different government organizations like BCS Administration, BCS Taxation, BCS Foreign Academy, NAEM, Police Staff College, Judicial Administrative Training Institute, NIMCO, Social Service Academy, FIMA etc. As a Chairman, Mr. Kabir has made significant contribution for the welfare of the children at LEADS and maintains liaison with different government organizations for smooth operation of LEADS. He is an ideal example for the children. |

Every organization starts with the initiative of one person. For LEADS, Ms. Romina Dewan is that person. Ms. Dewan completed her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and worked in different International organizations as Head of education programme for long . She is also well reputed for writing articles in renowned journals and daily English Newspaper. As a short term consultant she supports different national and international organizations. Her tremendous experience over 20 years in the field of education sector was one of the main reasons for the inception of her own NGO LEADS with her own financing. It works in an incredibly innovative way to support the school going government primary school poor children mainly emphasizing the values based curriculum for sustainable and quality education. The first and foremost goal of LEADS is to reduce the drop out and to ensure quality education and thus to contribute to the society. For her, LEADS is not just a project, but a dream, a vision to build a better and more educated nation. She is intimately involved with day-to-day operations of LEADS, and regularly interacts with the students and their parents to remain updated about their progress. Romina Dewan has been honoured with “ Women Leadership Achievement Award” in 2015 by World Women Leadership Congress and Awards ( WWLC) and “ Super Women Achiever Award” by Femina from Taj Lands End Mumbai for her innovative work . The WWLC honors the strategic and influential role of various women leaders in the development of the modern economy, technology, and administrative methodologies that promotes the advancement of the government and business organisation according to the standards of global competitiveness. |

Ms Nargis is one of the most enthusiastic member of LEADS. Her support not only encourage the children but also the other team members in many ways. She has a vast experience for almost 15 years working in Goethe Institute as its Head of Administration and Finance. She used her financial experience voluntarily to support LEADS in doing their accounts related work. As she also worked at Sunbeams school she enjoys working with children and support LEADS whenever required. As a member of “Dhanmondi Poribesh Unnanyon Jote” she was involved in organizing seminars, discussion meetings, rallies, human chains, fund raising, round table discussions, etc. She actively involved herself to aware people on environmental problems like: traffic jams, air pollution, sound pollution, road side waste and debris etc . Her experience in organization and planning supports LEADS staff in absence of the ED sometimes . She also participated in the Coastal Awareness Festival for School Children , organized by LEADS in 2012 proving her interest for the children in general and LEADS in particular. LEADS is lucky to have this kind of member to encourage their innovative work. |

Rafia is a silent member of the management team. She did her SSC and HSC from Holy Crosss School and College and did MBBS from Armed Forces Medical College. She worked in Lab aid Hospital Gulshan for some couple of months before joining BCS health cadre as Assistant Surgeon and served in Kashiani Upazila Health Complex,Gopalgong , Suhrawardy Medical College and Kurmitola Medical College. She has now completed her MPH from NIPSOM on deputation . Despite of her busy timings she devotes her time for the health check up of the children and mother whenever she gets time. She advises as when required for the effective management and provides financial support on regular basis. |

Tasbiha is the most enthusiastic member of LEADS Management Team . She completed her SSC from Holy Cross Girls’ High School and HSC from Holy Cross College . Tasbiha graduated as Environmental, Water Resource Engineer under Civil Engineering Department from Military Institute of Science And Technology ( MIST) . Working as Associate Programme Officer at Action Aid Bangladesh. Before that, she worked at NAWE Bangladesh Banani , a Swedish Organisation as Associate Modelling Engineer and as Research Consultant Climate Change and Disaster Management Division of CEGIS a Public Trust of Water Resource Ministry from 2018 to June 2022. She taught English and Maths to the children of grades Six to ten after her SSC exam . She is still utilizing her holidays to teach the children voluntarily as she thinks it is her duty to support the poor children. She is satisfied only when she sees that the children are eager to attend her class.She is also providing financial support when needed. . |
